Jefferson Parish Schools will open registration for the 2019-20 school year on July 17. The district is also currently operating a special call center to answer parent questions.
This registration period is for students who are new to JP Schools and will attend kindergarten through 12th grade in 2019-20. Students can be registered weekdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the school they will attend. Registration will not take place on the first day of school, August 8.
The 2019-20 school year starts on August 8 for students in grades 1-12. Pre-K and kindergarten students start on August 15 or 16 (this date varies by school).
JP Schools’ annual compliance office call center is currently open to answer questions about the upcoming school year. The call center is open weekdays until August 2 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 504-365-5312.
