The Louisiana Department of Education (LDOE) Bulletin 140 requires the Lead Agency of each early childhood network to submit a Coordinated Funding Request on behalf of their Community Network. The Jefferson Parish Public School System, as Lead Agency for Jefferson Parish, developed the 2016-2017 Coordinated Funding Request in collaboration with the Jefferson Early Childhood Collaborative Network. This application includes requests for funding for the LA 4, Preschool Expansion Grant, Nonpublic School Early Childhood Development, and Allocated Child Care Assistance programs. This application is posted for public review and comment. Public comments should be emailed to ECNetwork@jppss.k12.la.us by 4:00 pm on January 17, 2016. The application and written public comments will be submitted to the LDOE on January 18, 2016. Funding decisions will be made by the LDOE with approval from the Board of Elementary and Secondary Education (BESE).
