Dajanique is a student at John Ehret High where she is under the supervision of JAG Specialist Brenda Menard.

To be considered for these offices, students competed with other students in Louisiana’s JAG programs by composing an essay and submitting a campaign speech video describing their JAG experiences and the program’s influence on them. The officers attended a JAG National Student Leadership Academy in Washington, D.C. to participate in academic/career learning sessions.

Jobs for America’s Graduates (JAG) is a state-based national non-profit organization dedicated to preventing dropouts among young people who are most at-risk. In more than three decades of operation, JAG has delivered consistent, compelling results – helping nearly three-quarters of a million young people stay in school through graduation, pursue postsecondary education and secure quality entry-level jobs leading to career advancement opportunities.
